The Bergstein & Ullrich law firm welcomes prospective client inquiries. Before we
take any cases or clients, we ask that you provide us with some information in advance.
This saves time and expense, and helps us determine the best course of action. If you are
seeking legal representation for matters involving employment discrimination or police
misconduct, please visit our
questionnaire page to either download a questionnaire or
have us provide one to you by mail.

Our attorneys will promptly review your completed questionnaire and any other
relevant
documents you provide to us, and determine if there is sufficient legal basis to proceed. If
we believe there is, we will contact you for an appointment to discuss the facts of your
case, the legal basis for moving forward, possible remedies available to you, and
estimated costs. Payment of fees and expenses are determined on a case-by-case basis.
If after reviewing your questionnaire we determine we are unable to take your case, we
will let you know by letter.

Please note that we are generally unable to take phone calls to discuss a prospective case
until a questionnaire is received. If it is an emergency situation an initial meeting can be
scheduled without a completed questionnaire, but will be billed at a higher fee.

Unfortunately, we cannot take every case brought to us, but we will provide referrals
whenever possible.
