My boss fired me because he said he just doesn’t like me.  Can I sue him?

Probably not. We would need to review your case to see if there is a basis to
proceed against your boss in court. In New York, employers can generally fire
or mistreat employees for unfair reasons, but not illegal reasons. If you think
you are treated unfairly and want to know if there is a basis to proceed with a
lawsuit, please fill out a
questionnaire and send it to us.

I had to quit because my supervisor was harassing me.  Can I sue the company?

You can sue the company if you can prove that the harassment was on the basis
of age, disability, national origin, pregnancy, race, religion, sex, retaliation,
whistle blowing, marital status, or sexual harassment.
