Helen G. Ullrich is a 1996 magna cum laude graduate of New York Law School, where
she was Law Review Notes and Comments Editor and Moot Court member. She is
admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.

Ms. Ullrich is a skilled negotiator on behalf of employees and has litigated scores of civil
rights cases.  She is experienced in representing individuals who were fired or
mistreated on account of race, gender, national origin, religion, retaliation, disability as
well as whistleblowers.  Ms. Ullrich also represents employees in negotiations with
employers for severance packages and agreements.

Significant victories for Ms. Ullrich include:

Berweger v. County of Orange (2001)
: Ms. Ullrich won a substantial jury verdict on
behalf of two nurses who were fired after they revealed illegal and dangerous practices
at the County jail.

New Windsor Volunteer Ambulance Corps. v. Meyers (2004): Ms. Ullrich and Stephen
Bergstein successfully challenged the decision by a Town Supervisor to seize ambulances
and other property owned by a local ambulance corps, winning an injunction in Federal
court. The verdict was affirmed on appeal.

Michetti v. Family Health Center (2006): Ms. Ullrich and Stephen Bergstein won a
significant trial victory on behalf of a disabled employee who was fired because of her
disability.

Ms. Ullrich is an active member of the American Bar Association, the New York State
Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association, where she serves as a board
member. She is a member of the Women's Bar Association of the State of New York,
Women's Bar Association of Orange and Sullivan Counties, where she served as
secretary from 2000 though 2001, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the
National Employment Lawyers Association. She has also lectured on employment
discrimination, providing fellow attorneys an overview of employment discrimination
litigation.

Ms. Ullrich is also active in the community. She served as a Councilwoman in the Town
of Hamptonburgh from 1990 through 1994, and is a member of the New York State
Democratic Committee for the 97th Assembly District. She also contributes her time as
a Director for Planned Parenthood of the Mid-Hudson Valley. She is past president and
one of the founders of Orange County Democratic Women, Inc.
